In this course at TTLMakerspace, you will go from beginner to a practical working knowledge of CAD modeling and additive manufacturing using a 3D Printer.
Using desktop 3D printers, you’ll learn all the insider tips and avoid the most common pitfalls experienced by people new to additive manufacturing.

Outcomes:
At the end of this course you will have achieved the following goals:
  • A complete understanding of the steps needed to go from concept to completed part
  • Familiarity with the properties of a variety of plastics
  • Experience and comprehension of the most important principles of 3D CAD modeling
  • The role of support materials
  • Understanding infill patterns, designing for strength
  • Experience using slicing software
  • Setting up a 3D Printer and performing operations
  • Machine maintenance
