For the absolute beginner that wants to get started. 

Want to learn the basics of operating a sewing machine? This beginner-oriented class will focus on getting comfortable using a sewing machine, including winding a bobbin, threading the machine, understanding the settings, and basic machine maintenance.
 
In order to put your new skills to the test, we will then cover three different hemming methods, so that you can get started on your sewing journey with a practical skill you can bring home to your wardrobe.
 
For this class we will be using the Singer Heavy Duty, which can be borrowed from the Tool Library.
